If you are a frequent visitor to our website, you will note a new feature at the top of the homepage. For about a year, efforts have been underway to create a short, succinct video which illustrates the powerful message of God found within the Bible. If you have yet to watch the video, please take three minutes of your time to do so; we think you will see that the objective was accomplished.
Why take the time and money to create such a video? For those with an interest in Bible purity, it does not take a great deal of effort to see that the Bible message is not taken as seriously as it once was. Thom Rainer, a researcher who has spent much time studying the millennial generation, has discovered that, while 65% of the “Builder Generation” (born 1927-1945) are Bible-based believers, only 4% of the “Bridger Generation” (born after 1984) hold the same belief. With certainty, this generation does not believe in the necessity of “book, chapter, and verse” for biblical authority. Pollster George Barna, through his research, has discovered that only 7% of Protestants hold a biblical worldview, and only 13% of non-denominational Protestant churches hold this view. Barna sums up his findings by stating, “The primary reason that people do not act like Jesus is because they do not think like Jesus.” Of course, to think like Jesus means that one must study Jesus and the only place to do that is God’s word.
Salvation is serious business and the Christians who compose this congregation believe that the plan for this salvation can only be found in God’s holy word. The psalmist wrote: “Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path” (119:105). We agree!
It may be that you have not yet come to terms with the authenticity of the Bible or, if you believe the Bible, it may be that you are unsure of God’s plan of salvation. If this is the case, we would love to help you. Our purpose is not to convert you to a church, make you part of some denomination, or pressure you for funding; it is simply to help better understand the way of salvation and help you find the way to please God. If we can be of service to you, please let us know. God desires that no man perish and neither do we!
