“And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us, and we saw His glory, glory as of the only begotten from the Father, full of grace and truth” (Jn 1:14).
Jesus is the embodiment of God’s final grace and absolute “truth.” He is alone “the way, and the truth and the life” (Jn 14:6). He is the only true way to God and everlasting life, so anything or any other way is wrong. This “knowledge” is liberating: “the truth shall make you free” (Jn 8:32), which is from sin, self, ignorance, error and death. His apostles were sent “the Spirit of truth” to guide them into “all truth” (Jn 16:13). We read His words of truth in the New Testament.
“For the Law was given through Moses; grace and truth were realized through Jesus Christ” (Jn 1:17).
